Complete Locksmith Training Course
The complete Locksmith Training Course is aimed towards newcomers to the industry. This combined Fitment and Locksmithing course covers everything you will need to know to start trading as a general locksmith.
The course covers the identification, operation, opening techniques and fitting of the following lock types over a 4 day period:
· Cylinders – Euro, Oval and Rim
· Backsets – Standard, British Standard and Specialist
· Mortice Locks – 2,3 and 5 lever with British Standards,
including Sash Locks
including Sash Locks
· uPVC Doors – Locks and Mechanisms
The fourth day of the Complete Locksmith Course will also cover vehicle entry and Mortice and Cylinder key cutting.
3 Day Locksmith Course
The 3 Day Locksmith Course is aimed at someone who has experience in fitting locks to wooden doors but who has no other experience in locksmithing, alternatively maybe someone who has previously done a Locksmith course but has not carried out locksmith work out on the road at all or for a long time and has possibly lost confidence. The course will include the following:
Fitting and upgrading a Nightlatch
Identification, operation and opening techniques on the following:
· Cylinders
· Backsets
· Mortice Locks
· uPVC door locks and mechanisms
· uPVC additional security
· Vehicle entry
· Mortice and cylinder key cutting
1 Day uPVC course
This course is aimed at professionals who have experience in Locksmithing on wooden doors but who perhaps haven’t had or had very little experience in uPVC. You will cover all aspects of uPVC including:
. Identification of euro and oval cylinders,
their application, operation and how to measure.

1 Day Fitment Course
The One Day Fitment Course is aimed at professionals who perhaps wish to brush up on their fitting techniques. The course covers all aspects of Lock fitting of a variety of different locks.
